GFAA Rules Amendment to take effect 1st
July 2008
I'm
not sure if you have been made aware previously, however
as per the GFAA newsletter I have just received, a
postal vote was recently undertaken by the State
Associations to alter Clause 1-10 of the GFAA Angling
Rules and Equipment Regulations, with the result that it
was carried. The the new rule came into effect on 1 July
2008 and reads:
The
use of any devices (lures, birds, teasers etc) unless it
is a break away, is not permitted in front of, or behind
the lure or bait (unless it is part of the lure or bait)
on the leader or main line.
Please ensure that this information is passed to all of
your club members.
